Manuka honey? What's so special about it?

Manuka is a shrub that grows wild in New Zealand. Its leaves are small and fragrant and its flowers white and fragrant. Manuka honey is made from its flowers and the Maori people have used the plant and its honey for centuries as natural medicine products.
